Eva Violante

Eva Violante, Senior Jewelry Specialist and Vice President, joined Phillips in May 2018 after serving as Heritage Auctions’ Fine Jewelry Director in New York. At Heritage, Violante assisted in the auctioning of the Shirley Temple jewelry estate—a jewelry auction that broke records for all previous jewelry sales at the company. She then served as the Head of Jewelry for Fortuna Auction, winning the business and overseeing the sale of Bo Legendre’s jewelry estate- an important collection of pre-war Belperron, Boivin, Verdura and Cartier jewels. Violante also spent many years in both New York and Madrid as an International Buyer at CIRCA, a prominent buyer of pre-owned jewelry, gemstones and watches. She is a member of the Women’s Jewelry Association, the American Society of Jewelry Historians as well as Gem X Core.
