About Hofstra University

The Hofstra University Conference Center is situated on the University's 240 acre campus, less than one half hour from LaGuardia and JFK International Airports, and convenient to the LIRR and major hotels. The Conference Center is minutes from the Hempstead stop on the Hempstead Branch of the LIRR.

Hofstra Accomodations

The Conference Center is equipped with large, comfortable classrooms on one floor, auditorium and adaptable space to suit all our needs.

A large cafeteria offers a wide variety of affordable foods and dining areas. A list of area restaurants is available from the Hofstra Conference (information) desk on campus. The food policy is pay as you go.

The Student Center also houses a bookstore, an Information Office and other services. Sports facilities on campus include tennis courts and an indoor pool. Hofstra University is a registered arboretum and a nationally accredited museum. Directions to Hofstra University are available on their website.

Within a short walk away are The New Complex and the Netherlands Complex. Both air conditioned, have elevator service and are secure. Each dorm suite comprises two private bed rooms and a shared bathroom.

It is strongly suggested staying on Campus to enjoy the experience Remember these are dorm rooms
so bring some of your small comforts. Refrigerators and microwaves are available for a small charge.
